Four Generations

Here we are on Thanksgiving. My Grandma was able to meet Gracie for the first time. What a fun thing to be able to get a picture with FOUR generations.

93 (almost 94!!) years young and 8 months old. There was something really poignant about watching my grandma hold my baby. Here is a brand new life and another who has lived a very full and long life. We wondered together what the world would be like for Gracie in 93 more years. Quite a sobering thought. She is my last living grandparent so this was a fun picture to get. Doesn't she look great? She lives alone and does everything BY HERSELF. She has only been admitted to the hospital to have her babies. Amazing.

I have commented before on your blog, I think. I check in every time a new post comes along to see how Gracie is doing. She is precious. This sweet picture with her grandmothers made me a little teary. My grandaughter is about Gracie's age but they live in Salt Lake and I am in Arizona. I wish I could come and hold them both. I have love to read about Gracie's progress. What amazing blessings we signed up for in order to come to earth and gain our mortal knowledge. You have a great family.

Those are great photos. You'll cherish them forever. I too have an amazing (great) grandmother whose wisdom and wit are so endearing and helpful. I recently did a post about her. She's 106 and also still lives alone. She cooks all her meals and keeps her home tidy(vaccuming, dusting...moving furniture). I love old women.

Sorry, Gracie is losing weight. I read another's comment about their own baby (Bela) losing the reflux after the surgery. I hope that's the case with Gracie too. I can tell it's a constant worry and struggle for you to just FEED her!

What an amazing lady! I love the picture of the four generations- you guys all share beautiful eyes. She does not look 93, I would have guessed her to be in her 70's. I agree with Stefanie and many more 4 generations to come!
