Happy 7 Month Birthday Gracie Girl

I took this photo of my GG today on her 7 month birthday. I was so happy to catch a smile. We have felt Gracie's personality has been gone since she has been home from her cath. She whimpered for about 4 days straight. Yesterday she cracked out a couple smiles, and today a few more. We are slowly getting her back. Cath's are pretty brutal. It is disappointing to think she will have another one before her surgery. I haven't heard the final word from cardiology but I am almost positive that her surgery has been officially canceled. They called today and scheduled a follow up visit for November 3rd, so we will most likely not be headed for surgery two days later like originally planned. I hope to talk to cardiology tomorrow and get a better outlook as to what the plan is for her. For now, we will just enjoy her being in our home a little bit longer and HOPEFULLY we can have the holidays to ourselves at home and have her surgery after Christmas sometime.

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl!

I can't believe she is 7 months old. She is such a doll! I love her big smile. Small world, we just moved in to your sister Stephanie's ward. I saw her and knew she was your sister! I actually thought for a moment that it was you. LOL

Happy Birthday Gracie! How hard to be in limbo all the time with the surgery dates. I guess you are probably just taking it one day at a time. I bet that is so hard for you Michele - my organized friend who has always had a plan for everything. Hang in there!

She really is an angel. I admire you so much. I don't know how you do it. You are truly an inspiration to me as a mother.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear GG, happy birthday to you... Yea, seven months! Super cute picture. I hope she has many more smiley days before her next surgery. I am glad we may get the holidays "off" and deal with the Glen next year. This year stunk a little, lets hope 09 is better!!!

I just got caught up on Gracie's latest adventures(let's just call them "adventures" instead of challenges). I know that Gracie is a miracle but Michele...SO ARE YOU!!! I read your family blog first and thought to myself, "Man she sure is busy, Gracie must be doing GREAT!" Then I get here on to Gracie's blog and find that it's been a whirlwind of ups and downs. (Congrats on the rice cereal feeding) I will keep Gracie in our family prayers and my own personal prayers. I will still fast for her on November 2nd although her surgery won't be on the 5th now. Stay Strong!

She is absolutely adorable! It's good to see a smile on her face! Poor little thing having to go through so much in her short 7 months of life. What a blessing to have her though. She is an absolute gift!

There is a beautiful twinkle in Gracie's eyes. What a gorgeous little girl. I too hope that you can enjoy her and your family through the holidays together.
