Instead of Tears......

Instead of tears.....I hope this post brings a smile. It's amazing how much entertainment can come out of a couple of ratty, goofy, random wigs. Nice bruise on Callie's chin....remnants of two different falls onto the same spot on her face. Life goes on and we will continue to find joy in the journey. One of my favorite quotes is "Enjoy the little things in life for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things."

Well said! Thanks for the smile - your kids crack me up! That is one nasty bruise on Callie's chin. It's true these are the moments you will remember.

I can't imagine how hard it must be but, I'm glad you are trying to enjoy the good moments. That quote you mentioned is actually the header for my family blog and I try to remember that when life is crazy and not just let the days pass waiting for something good because everyday should be good.

Don't know how you do it. ALWAYS making others smile as we marvel at your strength and joyous outlook on life. How blessed I am to have you as a friend!

Taylor looks like a real rocker straight from the 80's. Hilarious!

I have been following your blog for while- you are an inspiration. Ironically, my friend just found out she is pregnant with a little boy with HPLHS. Can I ask a for a suggestion? What can I do to support her before her little boy is born? If it's easier you can e-mail me stephaustin77@ hotmail.com Thank you!

Michele-

I volunteered up at Primary's for their telethon last week. I was thinking of you, Gracie and your family the whole time I was there. Both of my boys have gone through their emergency doors and also (and especially) knowing Gracie's story, I HAD to give a little back to that special hospital.

I hope your children are making you smile! By the looks of that picture, how could anyone NOT be smiling:)
