Some Pictures from Yesterday

The Easter Bunny brought an Easter Basket for Gracie in the PICU. The bunny beside her was in the basket.
All the kids got to come and see her. They were so excited!

Finally, Callie got to hold her baby sister! She loved helping with her binkie.

Taylor said the he thought she liked him because he could get her to stop crying.

Max has a new love. He was probably the most excited to see Gracie and hold her. He had a look of absolute love for her the whole time he was with her.

So sweet. Wow, it's so great the kids were able to hold Gracie! We are thinking of you every minute today. We are praying that all goes perfect during the surgery. Just let us know what you need today and we will do it!

You did get some great pictures! You captured some great moments and feelings. I loved the picture of Max holding Gracie's hand and how they were looking at each other. So precious!! I wish I lived somewhere near so that I could help out with something. But, I guess my thougths and prayers will have to do. Thanks for the updates and good luck today!

Your kids looked so cute with their new sister, you can tell they had been waiting for this day for a long time. I am so glad they got to hold her, Spencer still talks about the few minutes he got to hold Kayden, your kids will never forget yesterday.

We will definitely be praying for Gracie today. It's 9:20 so she's probably in surgery right now. Hope you are doing well too.

Those pictures are so tender with their new special sister.

I have been thinking about and praying for Gracie non stop since she was born. I'm sending you a big hug through cyberspace right now to help you be strong during the waiting period of her surgery. That has to be the hardest thing you have ever done! But your little sweetheart is loved by so many and she will be protected during all of this. The Max/Gracie picture has got to be the most precious thing I've ever seen! We love you so much--

I just wanted to let you know that it is amazing the amount of faith that your Max has. Our morning car conversations are always so positive and uplifting. I think you have done a really great job informing your children about this process. He understands exactly what is happening and knows that all of this is what's best for Gracie. Praying for continuing peace and comfort for you, love - Amy
