Update #11

Dr. K just came out and said that the left ventricle is moving just a little bit. They are planning for her to come out on ECMO because it is not moving near where it should be. They think the time that the heart was out of the body was a little longer than they would like, but they had no control over that with the amount of travel time etc. He also had a little more repair than he was planning on with the pulmonary arteries. They are going to watch her for at least another hour. I asked him if a transplant had ever come out on ECMO and he said 'yes'.....I asked him if they lived and he said 'yes'. We will have to wait and see what is in store for our Gracie Girl.

We just had a family prayer for you and Gracie. We feel and have felt your worry with our own son. We know that the only thing that can help right now is the comforter. We hope you feel the comfort and peace we prayed for.

Oh my, how can you even breath? I can hardly breath. I went to church and heard that Gracie was getting her heart - what a miracle that everything came together so fast! Be strong and hold on to the feelings you had when you found out the donor heart was coming. Gracie is great at defeying the odds.

Gracie is a little fighter and always has another miracle up her sleve. I've actually heard of several babies that have come out of the transplant on Ecmo and they are doing great.

WE ARE PRAYING HARD!!!! What an adorable picture... melts my heart.
