Sunday Afternoon

Tom and I got to go to the sacrament meeting they hold here in the hospital. It is 1/2 hour long!!! We could get used to this. Actually, the meeting was really neat. There were quite a few people there including parents, parents with patients and employees. The spirit was strong in that short little meeting. When you are going through a significant trial like we are, everything is intensified. The words to the hymns, the prayers, talks etc. It was a welcome diversion to our day.

This afternoon, Gracie has been throwing up again. They just took an x-ray of her abdomen to try and figure out what is wrong with her. It is quite scary to watch her gag repeatedly and throw up. The goal now is still to try and get her swelling down. I will post later if necessary, thanks.

Tom and Michele,
We thought about you during our sacrament meeting today. I'm glad you enjoyed yours and I hope that they figure out what's making Gracie throw up. You've all been through so much. Remember that we love you. Susan

I'm glad you finally got to try the sacrament meeting up there, I miss it already. I guess you know we are home now, we tried to say goodbye with Teag, but you guys weren't there, I think it was when Gracie was having her procedure. We miss you guys and hope to keep in touch, I'm sure we will run into eachother some where down our long heart roads. Good luck and know you are in our prayers and if you ever need to talk or you want another blanket or you forget your filp flops just e-mail me (prettiebryttie@gmail.com) and I'll give you my number.
P.S. HAPPY 1 MONTH BIRTHDAY GRACIE!

Thinking of you all and praying for the healing that Gracie needs. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't check your blog to see how darling Gracie is. And yes, there is comfort when we are able to worship with others who are in our "same boat"- everything touches our hearts so much more. Take care & keep up your strong faith.

I am sorry that she is throwing up again. It's not enough that she has been through all that she has been through and then to have throwing up on top of it just is so heart breaking. I am glad you were able to have a neat sacrament meeting. I LOVE the 1/2 hour idea!
All our prayers and hugs,
Emily

Today in Sacrament meeting we sang How Great Thou Art (and he is!!) One line inparticular where it says, "That on the cross my burden gladly bearing" I just thought of your situation and how the Savior has suffered all of it!! He truely loves us so much-I know you know that!! Our prayers will be more specific for Gracie to overcome her stomach issues (throwing up/tolerating her milk)Love you guys

LOVE the pedicure pics... what a sweet idea. I am so happy that Gracie is doing so well. Her throwing up with subside eventually, Owen had the same thing... but it is AWEFUL to watch them gag and turn red and then puke. :(

We continue to pray for her quick recovery so she can come home and join her beautiful family!!!
